Directions

By car From the A7 motorway to Nieuweschans Groningen, take the exit Winschoten and Pekela’s. At the roundabout take the Beerta exit. Follow the road past the village of Beerta and turn left at the sign Finsterwolde. Continue on the CG Wiechersweg. Turn right at the tower, this is the Hoofdweg. Number two is on the left side, opposite the cemetery. Travel time from Groningen: 33 minutes.

Public transport The train from Winschoten to Groningen leaves twice an hour from Groningen railway station. Qbuzz no. 17 from Winschoten station to Scheemda goes every hour and connects with the train from Groningen. Get off at the stop at Kerkeweg.
Walk back toward the tower and follow the road past the cemetery to number two on the left side of the road. Travel time from Groningen: 1.05 hours.
