The accommodation of the weaving centre is special: the former auditorium called De Haven of the Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk (Church) in Finsterwolde, a village in East Groningen.

In 1923, the clergyman and the sexton have lived in the house adjacent to it. Built in the fifties, the auditorium consists of an entrance hall with toilet, a classroom of around 7m x 7m, a kitchen, bathroom, a barn and a stage. The large windows make the room nice and light.

In 2009 we renovated the building and made it accessible for wheelchairs. The yarn cupboards and new curtains have made it look very snug.
